Device description

The RGT-12 SVC is a 12-step three-phase reactive power compensation controller with a graphic LCD display, supporting SVC (Static VAR Compensation).

• It is used to compensate for both inductive and capacitive reactive power.

• If inductive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller connects capacitors.

• If capacitive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller connects a shunt inductor.

• It effectively reduces the ratio of inductive to capacitive energy and optimizes the power factor.

• It enables efficient step compensation for unbalanced systems.

What is SVC (TCR)?

SVC is a static reactive power compensation system with thyristor-controlled reactors that enables smooth and fast compensation of capacitive power in the system.
