Device description
The RGT-12 SVC is a 12-step three-phase reactive power compensation controller with a graphic LCD display, supporting SVC (Static VAR Compensation).

It is used to compensate for both inductive and capacitive reactive power.

If inductive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller connects capacitors.

If capacitive reactive power comes from the grid → the controller connects a shunt inductor.

It effectively reduces the ratio of inductive to capacitive energy and optimizes the power factor.

It enables efficient step compensation for unbalanced systems.
What is SVC (TCR)?
SVC is a static reactive power compensation system with thyristor-controlled reactors that enables smooth and fast compensation of capacitive power in the system.
