The purpose of this document is to inform you about all information related to the processing of your personal data when you use the online store within the framework of the pelek.eu online store. Your personal data is collected through the pelek.eu online store and/or directly by us. In both cases, we may act as the data controller. We process the following personal data about you:
— name and surname, contact details (especially email, telephone number), address;
— billing data and bank details (data required for accounting purposes);

We do not process special categories of personal data.
2. For what purpose do we process personal data and what is the reason for the processing?
2.1 Fulfillment of the contractual relationship and related legal obligations. The purpose of processing personal data is to fulfill the purchase contract and the related obligations (delivery of goods, accounting, handling of complaints, or if you exercise your right to return goods within the statutory deadline). We process your first and last name, contact information (residential and delivery address, email address, and telephone number), as well as other billing information. Personal data is processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and for four years after its termination (here, we are interested in retaining some personal data related to the purchase contract for reasons of protecting our interests). We are legally obliged to archive accounting and tax documents. The retention period for this data may be up to ten years from the end of the fiscal year in which the contract was fulfilled. If necessary for delivery and payment, the personal data we collect will be transferred to the authorized transport company or authorized credit institution.
2.2 Payment by card. If you provide us with your payment card details, we do not have access to the full information. We only know that you are paying by card, and the card details are processed by the recipients of this information, who process the payment for us.
2.3 Order processing. In order to process your order, we also collaborate with other service providers (shipping companies and others) who help us fulfill concluded contracts. Your data is transferred to these partners solely for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations of the purchase contract.
2.4 Communication with Customer Service, Complaints, or Other Inquiries. If you have contacted us, we process your personal data based on your consent for the purpose of handling your inquiry or complaint. We may process the following personal data about you: first name, last name, telephone number, email address, and information about your order. Closed customer service inquiries and complaints are regularly deleted no later than four years after the inquiry or complaint is handled.
2.5 Reviews. Our customers' ratings are important to us. We will publish reviews if you give us your consent (if you leave a review for a specific product or service). We may process the following personal data about you: first name, last name, email address, order information. With your explicit consent, we will also process photographs and personal data that are part of the review text. Reviews are retained until you revoke your consent, but not for more than 5 years.
2.6 Customer Reviews. You can share your shopping experience and rate individual products. To evaluate your feedback on purchased products, we may use other Processors.
2.7 Legal Obligations. Personal data may be transferred to third parties, in addition to the Processors mentioned below, if required by law or in response to lawful requests from public authorities or at the request of a court in litigation.
2.8 Age Restriction. For products subject to age restrictions, we verify whether you have reached the minimum age required in accordance with applicable law. To do this, we use an identification service that allows us to verify your age.
2.9 Digital Products. If product upgrades with digital elements or digital products are required, we process the data you provided when placing the order.

3.1 Emails we may send. In connection with the sale of our products or services, we may send emails to customers related to:

4. Processors
Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners (Processors) or other third parties, if required by law.
We only use verified Processors with whom we have a written contract, and who offer us at least the same guarantees as we offer you. These are only Processors from the European Union, or from countries that have been declared and recognized as safe, or from countries with which we have standard contractual clauses in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR, and who provide your personal data with a level of protection comparable to that provided by the application of the GDPR and Czech law. All of these Processors are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use the personal data provided for any purpose other than those we have permitted in accordance with these policies.

Where can you contact us? Write to us at shop@pelek.eu or at our headquarters.
When will we resolve your request? We will respond no later than one month. If providing the information compromises the privacy of others, or if providing the information represents a disproportionate risk or cost, we may not be able to comply with your request. For repeated requests, the administrator will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for a copy of the personal data.
— Right of access. Confirmation of whether we process your personal data. Information about the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, recipients to whom they have been made accessible, processing period, and the existence

— Right to object. If we process your data based on legitimate interest (for example, sending newsletters). We have the burden of proving our legitimate interest; if we agree with you, we will stop processing your data.
— Right to withdraw consent. If you have changed your mind, please write to us. Processing related to marketing and commercial purposes may be revoked at any time.
— Automated individual decision-making, including profiling. You have the right not to be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects for you or similarly affects you. We respect your rights and therefore do not engage in profiling.
