The RGT-12E reactive power controller from TENSE is a fully automatic and highly accurate controller designed for optimal control of compensation stages in power systems. Automatic Detection of Compensation Stages

The controller automatically configures itself after power-up:

• automatically detects the size of the connected capacitor stages

• the system continuously checks the status of each stage

Intelligent Switching Control

The controller connects and disconnects stages in a way that

• a stable power factor is achieved with a minimum number of switching operations

• individual stages are loaded evenly

• capacitors with lower residual charge are preferred

• the status of each stage is checked simultaneously (faults, power changes, removal, and reinsertion).

TCR (Thyristor Switched Reactor) Support
