The relay can also be used as an OFF-delay relay - a relay with an OFF-delay (delayed disconnection), but it must be taken into account that the output relay is a changeover relay and terminals 2 - 1 are switched even without power present. When used as an OFF-delay, when power is applied, the set time starts to count, when it expires, the output relay switches on and disconnects terminals 1-2

Time delay relay with ON-delay

- Delayed connection of the NO contact after power is connected (no control signal) (ON-delay)

- When power is connected, the set time starts to count and the output relay connects when the set time has elapsed

- the output relay is overrideable,

- The NC contact behaves like the OFF-delay, i.e., it connects immediately and disconnects once the set time has elapsed.
