Phase Control Relay FKV-11 | TENSE

The FKV-11 phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase equipment from major power grid faults, especially phase jams (phase reversal), phase failure, and phase asymmetry. The relay provides reliable operation of electric motors, pumps, compressors and other three-phase equipment.

The model features a fixed 30% asymmetry and is designed for installation on a single DIN rail.

FKV-11 relay operation (operating algorithm)

Normal operation

• All three phase voltages are present.

• Phases are connected in the correct order.

• Voltage is within the allowed range.

• Contacts 2-3 are switched, LED OUT → active output.

Asymmetry or voltage deviation

• If the voltage of one phase varies by more than 30%, or if the sum of multidirectional value variations exceeds this limit:

  • the ASM LED lights up (asymmetry indication),

  • contacts 2-3 are disconnected,

  • contacts 1-2 are connected,

  • the OUT LED turns off.

Return to normal

• If the voltage returns to the permitted range

• the relay will reactivate the output and contacts 2-3 will be closed again.
