Digital overcurrent relays TRM-300 are designed to protect loads from high current damage, while also allowing monitoring of operation.

Appliance use and operating principle

1. Connect the appliance according to the wiring diagram.
2. Once wiring is complete, connect the power. After power-up, the display will show the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Set the overcurrent value using the "A>" knob. The set value is displayed on the left screen.
4. Use the "t" knob to set the delay time. The set value is also shown on the left display.

When connecting the appliance:
- The relay is switched on, the output contact goes to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
- If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the appliance starts the delay time countdown and the ERR indicator lights up.
- Once the time has elapsed, the relay switches off, the contact goes to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator turns off.

The TRM-300 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect appliances when the maximum permissible current is exceeded.
It has a programmable trip range, the ability to adjust the trip time and the return time.
There are 3 programs for returning to "operation" mode - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset modes:

- Manual Mode: After an overcurrent fault, the appliance must be reset by pressing the Reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED lights up.
- Semi-automatic Mode: The system automatically resets three times after an overcurrent fault, and then waits for a manual reset on the next fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator lights up.
- Automatic Mode: The system automatically resets after each overcurrent error. In this mode, the corresponding LED indicator lights up.

Note: To switch modes, press and hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When switching modes, the corresponding LED lights up.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the highest and lowest phase current exceeds 50%, the device will enter asymmetry error mode in 2 seconds.
(This prevents damage to the system in the event of a single-phase failure during motor operation).

During an asymmetry error:
- The display group for the two phases that caused the fault will flash and the ERR indicator will light up.
- To return from asymmetry error mode, the appliance must be manually reset.
