Three-phase current relay for load current control / limitation in the 90-200 A range, TENSE (Turkey)

TRM-200 digital overcurrent relays are designed to protect loads from damage due to high currents while also allowing for monitoring of operation.

Appliance usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. When the wiring is complete, apply power. After power-on, the display shows the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" knob to set the overcurrent value. The set value is shown on the left display.
4. Set the delay time using the "t" knob. The set value is also shown on the left display.

When connecting the device:
- The relay switches on, the output contact goes to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
- If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device starts counting down the delay time and the ERR indicator lights up.
- Once the set time has elapsed, the relay switches off, the contact goes to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator switches off.

Description

The TRM-200 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect devices when the maximum permissible current is exceeded.
It features programmable switching range, delay time, and return to operation time.
There are 3 modes for returning to operating condition - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset modes:

- Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, the device must be reset by pressing the reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED lights up.
- Semi-automatic mode: The system automatically resets three times after an overcurrent fault, and then waits for a manual reset on the next fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED is on.
- Automatic mode: The system automatically resets after each overcurrent fault. In this mode, the corresponding LED is on.

Note: To switch modes, press and hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is switched, the corresponding LED indicator will light up.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the larger and smaller phase current exceeds 50%, the device enters asymmetry error mode within 2 seconds.
(This prevents damage to the system in the event of a phase failure during motor operation.)

During an asymmetry error:
- The display group of the two phases that caused the fault will flash and the ERR indicator will light up.
- To exit asymmetry error mode, the device must be manually restarted.
