Product description

The FKV-14P three-phase phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment against critical power supply failures. It provides comprehensive monitoring of phase presence, phase failure, phase jamming, asymmetry (fixed 40%), phase deviation, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: if all three mains voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct and the winding temperature does not exceed the limits, the relay connects (contacts 15-18 closed) and the OUT LED lights up.

• Voltage error or asymmetry: if the voltage of any phase deviates by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 energize; the OUT LED turns off.

• Phase sequence error: the relay responds by opening the contacts and turning off the OUT LED.

• Winding temperature exceeded: The relay disconnects the output until the temperature returns to the allowed limits.

• Reset operation: The relay automatically returns to operating status once the parameters are normalized.
