TENSE Turkey float water/liquid level sensor or float switch with two contacts and one weight (counterweight). The FLT type sensor/switch can be used in clean water, as part of a water level control system together with devices such as MDK-02, TDK-01, TDK-02, TDK-30 or MDK-03, or separately as a direct pump on/off device. A wiring diagram for direct operation with a single-phase pump (without a level switch) of up to 2.2 kW (220 V) is shown below. With this wiring diagram, the pump's on/off levels are adjusted by moving a weight along the float switch cable and the length of cable lowered into the tank. The float switch cable can be secured to the tank lid with a sealed cable gland. The optimal position of the weights and cable length can only be determined experimentally. When used with a level switch, refer to the relay description page for a wiring diagram.
