El interruptor giratorio de leva inversa está diseñado para invertir el sentido de giro de motores eléctricos trifásicos. El dispositivo permite conmutar de forma segura entre el sentido de marcha derecho (P) e izquierdo (L) del motor, con la posibilidad de apagado rápido en la posición "0".
