The TENSE DA-120 single-phase digital ammeter is a precision measuring instrument designed to monitor electrical current in single-phase circuits up to 120 A. The device uses True RMS measurement, which ensures accurate results even in the presence of distorted current waveforms, non-linear loads, or harmonics.

The ammeter works with the included external CT-120 current transformer (120/5 A). A correctly selected transformer is necessary for accurate measurements, so it is not recommended to combine current transformers of different types or from different manufacturers.

Use

  1. Connect the CT-120 current transformer to the conductor to be measured.

  2. Connect the CT transformer output to the ammeter input terminals.

  3. When power is connected, the display will show the current drawn by the load.

The instrument automatically recalculates the measured values based on the type of current transformer connected - use only the transformer supplied with the instrument.
