Principal Electric Company presents a new line of products: modular cam switches, manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas began its activities in 1982 in Istanbul. For 40 years, it has been bringing innovative solutions to the cam switch market and successfully exporting its products to 20 different countries.
Cam switches are designed for:

• controlling mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, changing the connection of AC motor windings (star-delta), and changing the direction of rotation;

• performing control and signaling in control circuits;

• switching operating modes of heating equipment;

• connecting and disconnecting the drive of disconnectors in electrical substations.

Our new range of rotary switches offers a wide variety of configurations for different numbers of poles and different rated currents.
You can choose the switch according to its purpose and the technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example, to connect and disconnect a load on a line, choose the “0-1” scheme, and to switch to a parallel line (reversible load, backup source) – “1-2” or “1-0-2”. To switch between different operating modes of the equipment (normal speed, heating temperature) you will need the “0-1-2-3” scheme. In addition, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter, or a “star/delta” switch.
